The Centre for Media Research and Studies (CMRS) at Shobhit University has partnered with IIMM to leverage specialized teaching, training, and skilling opportunities that align with NEP 2020's directives to enhance vocational and professional education.
The Institute offers courses at UG, PG, PG diploma and short-term course level in the fields of Journalism and Mass Communication. UG course is for three-years duration, whereas PG course is for two years. The PG Diploma course is of one-year duration, whereas short-term courses are for six months duration.

Candidates need to provide self-attested documents like attested copies of marksheets of qualifying class for a course. For UG it is 12th or equivalent and for PG it is a Bachelor’s Degree. Also a recent passport-size photos etc. are needed along with an ID like an Aadhar card.
No, there is no entrance test but an online screening session with subject experts. We also consider CUET scores for admissions.
Yes, there are 10 seats available for direct admission to each course in every session.
The medium of instruction is both English & Hindi. Students can take exams in English or Hindi.

Yes, students may apply for the course but they need to produce the original Marksheet/Degree at the time of joining the course.
